Ágnes Rakó, who previously served as Co-Head of the Advisory Business Unit, will take over as CEO of KPMG Hungary starting on October 1, 2026. The company’s current head, Rezső Rózsai, will be promoted to a regional C-level position as Head of Audit for KPMG’s Central and Eastern Europe region, thus stepping down from the management of the Hungarian arm of the company.

Since joining KPMG in 1999 Ágnes Rakó has gained extensive professional and managerial knowledge, having built her career in the auditing and later in the advisory branch of the company, and has been the Co-Head of Advisory since 2024. She played a decisive role in building and launching several key service areas, as well as supporting the company’s growth and continuous renewal. Over the years, she has led and developed several branches, from financial risk management, accounting consulting and internal audit, to sustainability and outsourcing services, even including consulting areas related to artificial intelligence. As such, her diverse professional and managerial experience was a determining factor in her appointment as CEO.
