2026 Annual General Meeting
where you can join us, HMA Mr Justin McKenzie Smith and our Board on 13 May 2026!
Date and time: Wednesday, 13 May 2026, 16:00-20:00
Venue: KOZMO Luxury Hotel – 1082 Budapest, Horváth Mihály tér 17.
The event is free of charge for BCCH Members hence we request all members to have a representative on the spot, as the event concerns every BCCH Member and features a rundown of all the important developments made within the Chamber over the last 12 months.
We are excited to announce that this year we will be hosting the AGM at one of our trusted long-term members, KOZMO Hotel Budapest. As is tradition, the meeting itself will start at 4 pm and after the formal part, we will carry on with the customary networking part, including cocktail canapés and drinks in the hotel’s restaurant.
Please note once again that, in accordance with our Charter, we need all our members to attend personally or by representative (proxy) to make sure we meet the quorum for an AGM to be held validly. The required quorum is more than 50 percent of the voting members present (50 % + 1 person).
If no quorum is present at the time of the Annual General Meeting, the adjourned General Meeting shall convene at 16:15 on 13th May 2026 at the same place and such meeting shall have a quorum as regards the matters included in the agenda of the previous meeting, regardless of the number of members present or represented.
Agenda
- 15:30 – Registration opens
- 16:00 – Welcome speech by Mr Duncan Graham, BCCH Chairman
- 16:05 – Welcome Speech by HMA Mr Justin McKenzie Smith, British Ambassador to Hungary and Honorary President of the Chamber
- 16:10 – Establishment of quorum, vote on AGM officers (keeper of the minutes, counter of the votes etc.)
- 16:20 – Chairman’s report, presented by Mr Duncan Graham and vote on accepting the Chairman’s report
16:25 – Financial Report and Auditor’s Report (approval of the BCCH accounts for 2025) presented by BCCH’s Treasurer Mr Dennis Diokno and vote on accepting the reports including BCCH annual budget for the upcoming year - 16:30-17:00 – Roundtable Chat with Attrecto on “Agentic AI in action: Transforming processes and building scalable AI backbones across organisations” – further information below
- 17:00-17:10 – The results are announced, then the moderator closes the official half of the AGM.
- 17:10 – Networking starts at the hotel bar

We will be joined by our members Attrecto for a rountable chat on Agentic AI in action: Transforming processes and building scalable AI backbones across organisations

- The panel will feature Máté Gaál (Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary – Finance Digitalization & Transformation Global Lead) – bringing hands-on experience from leading a full-scale finance transformation at Deutsche Telecom right now, where processes are being rebuilt around agentic AI; Gergely Kiss (Attrecto) – representing a broader strategic and business perspective on AI adoption; Eszter Weinbrger (Co-Founder at Futable, formerly Head of Resource Development at Skilly), who would add a unique angle on how AI can create opportunities for marginalized communities and will be moderated by Orsolya Galántai.

Participation fee:
BCCH members – free of charge
(only a maximum of two people from any member company may attend free of charge, and each voting member company will have the right to one vote only)
Non-Members – 25,000 HUF + VAT
Please note that non-members can only attend the reception and networking starting from 17:00 after the meeting itself. Please confirm your attendance as soon as you can and by Friday, 8 May 2026 the latest.
