We invite you to 2026’s first CEO Dinner, to be held on 3 February at Párisi Udvar Hotel for which we are glad to announce that we’ll be joined by Ms Ilona Orbók, Managing Director of BDO Hungary.
Ilona is Luxury market leader, Tax Partner and one of the Managing Directors at BDO Hungary. She has over 15 years of experience advising multinationals, family businesses and start-ups, as well as leading global tax engagements. Her main area of expertise is international tax planning, especially transfer pricing consulting (pricing of intra-group transactions). Besides her expertise on topics affecting luxury industry clients, she is also experienced in financial reorganization and managed multiple analytics transformation projects.
She is frequently interviewed on topics related to the luxury industry, retail trends and customer behavior by national and international media including Forbes, Brain Bar, Portfolio and ATV among others. She co-hosts Hype Luxury podcast by Portfolio, moderates industry webinars and participates international conferences.
She is a member of Tax Authority’s professional transfer pricing roundtable group and BDO’s international expert organization, Transfer Pricing Center of Excellence.
Ilona is also known for her appearances as one of the investors on the Hungarian version of the business TV show “Shark Tank.” at RTL TV. She is a frequent guest on business TV and radio programs and often writes analytical articles for the most important newspapers in the country.
She also develops effective philanthropic response strategies in areas such as the arts, sports and entrepreneurship.
