We are glad to announce the return of one of our best attended community events here at the British Chamber, the live Six Nations rugby Doubleheader!
We will be pleased to welcome you to a completely new and very apt venue for a sporting event, the comfortable surroundings of the Hungarian University of Sports Science courtesy of our hosts TFSE Volleyball, on the 9th March for a double header warming up with Italy vs Scotland and concluding with the fiercely contested fixture of England vs Ireland. As usual there will be great food between the games provided by Noiret Catering along with refreshments including Guinness on tap and Soproni by the can, or if you are not keen on beer, Nyakas Winery will have a wine bar as well as some nice afternoon tea supplied by the English Tea Shop and a freshening corner courtesy of VIWA Vitaminwater.
Following up on our previous rugby doubleheaders, this headline social event promises a relaxed atmosphere where networking takes a more personal, laid-back approach combined with an exciting sporting occasion.
The current selection of matches will feature two key moments from the 2024 Six Nations Championship, which will see England attempt to avenge their loss last year whilst Ireland will hope for a repeat of last year’s grand slam. The other key match will see Scotland attempt to improve on their promising performance last year against the formidable Italian side.
