Join us at one of the best-known and most successful events in the Expat calendar, the St. Andrew’s Ball celebrating the national day of Scotland on the 25th of November at its usual venue, the Marriott Hotel, Budapest, sponsored by one of our longest-standing members Budapest British International School.

Experience some authentic Scottish entertainment with Craig Weir, one of Scotland’s leading bagpipers and dance along with the fabulous Liam Smith Ceilidh Band! As usual there will be a delicious three-course meal from the Marriott hotel, along with wine, beer and of course whisky, courtesy of our sponsors Diageo. There will also be a charity tombola for the benefit of Tabitha Haz Children’s Hospice, followed by some pop/rock hits, funky/soul/R&B songs and oldies to keep us going until the early hours.

On the front of beverages other than whisky, we are proud to be partnering with Törley as our official sparkling wine supplier for the event, who will supply the crowd with their Tokaji Sparkling champagne, both the Brut, the Doux and the alcohol free variant, that should make a perfect fit for all.

Please also note that just as in the previous years, the St Andrew’s Ball is a black tie/Highland Dress event (please wear comfortable shoes for dancing!). Finally, please let us know of any dietary requirements when registering or buying tickets.
