Sigma Technology Hungary, part of a Swedish-origin international group, has been operating in Hungary for 25 years, delivering expertise in telecommunications, software development, testing, AI, Cloud, Technical documentation and Graphic design. Today, the company is building on these strong foundations to become an engineering services provider for the space sector in Europe.<\/p>\n
Our journey into space began nearly a decade ago as a passion project, when Sigma engineers started supporting the Hungarian startup Puli Space Technologies. What started as a hobby gradually evolved into a strategic partnership. Sigma Technology Hungary became involved in the Puli Lunar Water Snooper project, a miniature neutron spectrometer designed to detect water ice beneath the lunar surface\u2014an important capability for future lunar base development.<\/p>\n
A dream became reality when the instrument reached the Moon in March 2025 and operated well in the harsh lunar environment, it was a proud moment not only for Hungary\u2019s space industry but also for our team, whose testing work contributed to the mission\u2019s success.<\/p>\n
Since autumn 2024, Sigma Technology Hungary has been pursuing a clear strategic vision to expand its space industry capabilities. Over the last two years, our engineers have contributed to multiple space projects while building our space industry expertise.<\/p>\n
The road ahead is both challenging and exciting. We look forward to supporting future missions, including the next Puli lunar mission planned for 2026. With strong technical foundations, an ambitious team, and a growing portfolio of space projects, Sigma Technology Hungary is well positioned to contribute to the next generation of space exploration and technologies that may create lasting value for humanity.<\/p>\n
