CMS Hungary is pleased to announce the appointment of P\u00e9ter Bib\u00f3k as a partner in the firm\u2019s Dispute Resolution practice in Budapest, effective 1 April 2026. In his new role as partner, P\u00e9ter will focus on banking and technology disputes, drawing on his extensive experience in both sectors.<\/p>\n
P\u00e9ter joined CMS Budapest in 2010 and has built a strong reputation advising clients on complex international arbitration and litigation, alongside insolvency, enforcement and customs proceedings. He has also developed significant experience in software- and IP-related arbitration and litigation, and aviation matters.<\/p>\n
Before joining the Budapest Dispute Resolution practice, P\u00e9ter was a member of the firm\u2019s Banking team, having started as a paralegal. This background equipped him with a deep understanding of the financial markets and banking sector, which remains invaluable in handling disputes in these areas.<\/p>\n
