Dear members and friends,<\/span><\/p>\n We are thoroughly pleased to invite you to 2024’s final CEO Dinner, to be held on the 27th of November\u00a0<\/span>at the P\u00e1risi Udvar Hotel<\/strong>\u00a0for which we are glad to announce that\u00a0<\/span>we\u2019ll be joined by Mr. \u00c1kos Garaba, Managing Director and engineering site lead of Jaguar Land Rover Hungary.<\/strong><\/p>\n During the event, you will have the chance to enjoy the customary three-course dinner with wine & welcome drinks while getting to hear one of the industry\u2019s foremost professionals views on recent developments and current industry affairs. HMA Mr Paul Fox, British Ambassador to Hungary and o<\/strong><\/span>ur Chairman, Mr Duncan Graham will both also be joining us to give their opening remarks to the event.<\/strong><\/p>\n Jaguar Land Rover perhaps needs little introduction, as one of the leading forces of the automotive sector and a company encompassing two of the most storied and iconic British brands, who opened their Hungarian site in 2019 and over the past years have invested heavily in cutting edge engineering especially concerning electric cars.<\/span><\/p>\n Our guest Mr Garaba has been a petrolhead since childhood and moved to the UK to work for Jaguar Land Rover after apprenticeships on the supplier side. With two years of experience at JLR’s Coventry headquarters and a deep affection for the marques, he joined the Hungarian operation at the first opportunity as an engineer, developing highly automated driving functions and their respective simulations. After multiple promotions first to the head of the automated driving group here in Hungary and then to engineering site lead and managing director, he’s still enthusiastic as ever overseeing the strategic direction of the site and maintains a close connection to the UK site, which makes him uniquely qualified to be our first CEO Dinner guest representing the automotive sector in quite some time.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
