{"id":4223,"date":"2023-06-12T08:38:51","date_gmt":"2023-06-12T06:38:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bcch.com\/?p=4223"},"modified":"2023-06-12T09:43:35","modified_gmt":"2023-06-12T07:43:35","slug":"navigating-the-changes-in-the-ekd-incentive-system-mapi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bcch.com\/?p=4223","title":{"rendered":"Navigating the changes in the EKD Incentive System &#8211; MAPI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[et_pb_section fb_built=&#8221;1&#8243; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.21.0&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221;][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;4.21.0&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221;][et_pb_column _builder_version=&#8221;4.21.0&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; type=&#8221;4_4&#8243; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.21.0&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Radical and comprehensive modifications are planned to the EKD incentive system<\/strong>, which will affect multiple areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The minimum investment volume required will be decreased.<\/li>\n<li>Requirements related to collateral will be eased.<\/li>\n<li>Obligations concerning workforce retention can be alleviated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These modifications aim to enable companies planning investments to carry out their projects under more favorable conditions, taking into account the current global economic and energy market circumstances.\u00a0<strong>The new rules will positively impact companies intending to invest in all parts of Hungary<\/strong>, and in some cases, the entry conditions may even be reduced by up to one-third.<\/p>\n<p>According to the planned new rules,\u00a0<strong>non-refundable state aid can be claimed for investments reaching a threshold of 3 million euros<\/strong>, except in the following municipalities, where the minimum investment value must reach the equivalent of<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>5 million euros<\/strong>\u00a0in Salg\u00f3tarj\u00e1n, Miskolc, Ny\u00edregyh\u00e1za, B\u00e9k\u00e9scsaba, P\u00e9cs, Kaposv\u00e1r, Szolnok, or any district seat and<\/li>\n<li><strong>10 million euros<\/strong>\u00a0in Gy\u0151r, Sz\u00e9kesfeh\u00e9rv\u00e1r, Tatab\u00e1nya, Szeksz\u00e1rd, Kecskem\u00e9t, Szombathely, Veszpr\u00e9m, Zalaegerszeg, Debrecen, Szeged, and Eger.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional favorable modifications include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Even for incentive agreements that have not yet been concluded,\u00a0<strong>it will be sufficient to provide a collateral equivalent to 100% of the grant amount<\/strong>, as opposed to the previous 120%, and this can be progressively reduced during the years of the monitoring period longer than the minimum.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The system will be more flexible regarding workforce retention commitments<\/strong>, with performance equal to 75% of the agreed baseline becoming acceptable.<\/li>\n<li>The maximum intensity and state aid that can be provided will be increased\u00a0<strong>for investments related to the green transition<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Following the promulgation of the draft legislation, the individual government decision-making process for corporate investment support will become more accessible, enabling even more businesses to successfully realize their planned developments.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mapi.hu\/radikalis-enyhites-elott-az-ekd-tamogatas-feltetelei\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Find the text in original Hungarian on MAPI&#8217;s website here<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/h3>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Radical and comprehensive modifications are planned to the EKD incentive system, which will affect multiple areas: The minimum investment volume required will be decreased.
