<\/em><\/p>\n ITR: Andersen is once again the Tax Firm of the Year in Hungary<\/em><\/p>\n Tax advisor firm and recent BCCH member, Andersen in Hungary is pleased to announce to be the best performing Hungarian tax advisor according to the assessment of the prestigious international tax magazine, the International Tax Review. For the second year in a row, Andersen has earned the highest professional accolade of the year, while also collecting the Indirect Tax Firm of the Year award.<\/strong><\/p>\n Founded in 1989, the International Tax Review (ITR), one of the world\u2019s leading tax journals, has awarded Europe\u2019s best tax advisory service companies for the 18th time. A jury of ITR\u2019s editors and experts ranked the candidates\u2019 performance in several categories, based on the volume and complexity of the tasks they had completed during the period, the innovative nature of their implementation and feedback from clients.<\/p>\n This year, ITR has ranked Hungarian tax advisory firms in four categories, i.e. in addition to the top \u201cTax Firm of the Year\u201d, in three other categories (transfer pricing, VAT and tax litigation adviser). Andersen was among the best in all of them, which only Deloitte managed to achieve. It is a great recognition that in Hungary,\u00a0the jury also awarded the title of Hungary Indirect Tax Firm of the Year to the firm, so Andersen won two of the four awards.<\/strong><\/p>\n ITR has ranked the overall performance of Andersen\u2019s offices in the TOP5<\/strong>\u00a0in the field of indirect taxation (mainly VAT)\u00a0at European level.<\/strong>\u00a0This demonstrates that Andersen\u2019s Hungarian VAT advisory department is backed by a very strong international network that is able to offer clients the best solutions to cross-border VAT problems.<\/p>\n The ITR also recognized the outstanding work of Bence Barta, head of the firm\u2019s VAT service line<\/strong>, by making him one of the seven European tax advisers nominated for the\u00a0Indirect Tax Rising Star\u00a0<\/strong>title in 2022.
