Join us and our Board\u00a0on the 12th of May for our AGM!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n The\u00a0<\/span>British Chamber of Commerce in Hungary<\/strong>\u00a0invites you to our<\/span><\/p>\n 2022\u00a0Annual General Meeting<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Date:<\/strong>\u00a0Thursday, 12 May\u00a02022, 16:00-20:00<\/span> The event is free of charge for BCCH Members and we request all members have a representative on the spot<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n After some time away and last year’s hybrid event, this year we are glad to let you know that our AGM is back to its original in-person format. True and tested over the decades, we will be welcoming you all at one of our newest members, KOZMO Hotel for the meeting and the cocktail bar reception that follows.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Please note once again that, in accordance with our charter,\u00a0we need all our member companies to attend via\u00a0a delegate<\/strong><\/u>\u00a0to make sure we meet the quorum for a valid AGM.<\/span><\/p>\n Agenda<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n 9 May <\/strong>– You will receive all the important documents already uploaded to a Google Drive folder via email, including the proxy form and all financial reports.<\/p>\n 12 May<\/strong> You will find the package of important documents regarding the finances and statements here<\/a><\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n Attendance information<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Participation at the official part of the AGM is for members only and free of charge, but please note that only a maximum of two people from any member company may attend, and each voting member company will have the right to one vote only.<\/strong><\/p>\n Dress code: Participation fee<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>(only applicable to non-members): 15,000 HUF (incl. VAT)<\/p>\n Participation fees (a gross amount of HUF 15,000 for non-members) are transferable to Magyarorsz\u00e1gi Brit Kereskedelmi Kamara at Budapest Bank, HU72-10102244-82717800-01004000 (Swift code: BUDAHUHB, HUF bank account) with the indication of the event title (AGM). Please note that the original invoice will be issued and sent to the email address provided in the registration process of the event once the event has taken place.<\/p>\n If no quorum is present at the time of the Annual General Meeting, the adjourned General Meeting shall convene at\u00a0<\/span>16:15\u00a0on 12 May 2022\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>at the same place and such meeting shall have a quorum as regards the matters included in the agenda of the previous Meeting, regardless of the number of Members present or represented.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Members who are entitled to vote but cannot delegate anyone from the company to attend the Annual General Meeting will have the option to appoint a representative of another BCCH voting member with discretionary power to vote for and on behalf of them with a written proxy, a form for which is available\u00a0here<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/a>. The number of proxies that a BCCH member can present at the event is limited to a maximum of two. 16:20 – Financial Report and Auditor\u2019s Report (approval of the BCCH accounts for 2021)\u00a0<\/span>including<\/span>\u00a0BCCH annual budget for 2023<\/span>, represented<\/span>\u00a0by BCCH\u2019s Treasurer Mr Douglas Arnott\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0vote on accepting the Financial Reports\u00a0<\/b>– You will be sent the reports via the aforementioned email before the event.<\/span>
