Fruzsina Zakari\u00e1s, Director of International Relations at the Hungarian Tourism Agency joined the Hungarian tourism board just in time to experience the sector\u2019s biggest challenge to date, the shock caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n

As the former CEO of the Hungarian subsidiary of a multinational company being present in 14 European countries, she stood the challenge armed with experience and passion. With a strong focus on sales and marketing, she has always been interested in building up and developing business.<\/p>\n

She utilizes this ability in its full extent in the current situation, having created a new sales strategy with her team to rebuild Hungary\u2019s international tourism in the post-Covid period in the most safe and efficient way, for the benefit of both our precious guests and the Hungarian tourism sector.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Dr. Rolf Schnitzler is the CEO of Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (Budapest Airport) since August 2019.
Previously, he worked as a lawyer and as a banker in executive and non-executive positions at AviAlliance, HOCHTIEF, Freshfields, and Deutsche Bank. Prior to his appointment as CEO he chaired the Supervisory Board of Budapest Airport since 2011.<\/p>\n

Following legal studies in Germany and Spain, Dr. Schnitzler graduated from Westf\u00e4lische Wilhelms-Universit\u00e4t M\u00fcnster with a doctoral degree.<\/p>\n

Dr. Schnitzler is 49 years of age. He speaks native German, is business fluent in English, and also speaks Spanish.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u00a0Arne Klehn brings over 20 years’ experience across the tourism and hospitality industry with him to head-up Budapest’s Marriott Hotel & Marriott Executive Apartments. He spent part of his career in Berlin, Hamburg, London, Palm Springs, Paris & Istanbul before moving to Budapest. He also became the youngest General Manager at a Marriott branded hotel in Europe at the age of 29.<\/p>\n

After completing a multi-million dollar renovation at the Budapest Marriott Hotel his focus remains on innovations elevating guest experiences. In his free time, Arne loves spending time with his 3 children, exploring Budapest\u2019s restaurant scenery with his wife and going for a run along the Danube.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
