The sixth edition of the Context webinar series\u00a0is arriving imminently, and we are very proud to feature<\/span>\u00a0the new British Ambassador to Hungary, HMA Mr. Paul Fox<\/strong>, in one of his very first public appearances in his brand new posting.\u00a0Mr. Fox\u00a0will be introducing himself to the wider business audience and discussing the progress of the withdrawal agreement in further detail.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are\u00a0also glad\u00a0<\/span>to announce our other guest:\u00a0<\/span>Mr Szabolcs Tak\u00e1cs,\u00a0Ministerial Commissioner for Brexit at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs<\/strong>\u00a0and freshly appointed future Hungarian Ambassador to the United States.\u00a0Mr. Tak\u00e1cs\u00a0<\/span>will provide a Hungarian viewpoint on\u00a0the\u00a0<\/span>progress\u00a0of the withdrawal agreement<\/span>\u00a0and in light of his new assignment,\u00a0we will surely ask him about this week\u00a0<\/span>events in the US.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, discussions on the progress of the withdrawal agreement and Brexit in general had to take a back seat throughout most of the past months, but the negotiations did not stop and in due\u00a0course their results will become the single most important matter for anyone doing business between Hungary and the UK. As a result, the views of our new ambassador will be of utmost importance to BCCH’s unique business circles. Further building on the experience and vast amount of knowledge of our Ministerial Commissioner for Brexit, we can say with complete assurance that both our guests will be highly informative and this is an event you want to make a place for in your calendar.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event will be opened by our chairman Duncan Graham and\u00a0moderated by BCCH Council Member\u00a0Kinga Kalocsai, Senior Advisor to FirstMed CEO\u00a0and will be conducted in English.<\/span><\/p>\n
