The webinar is organised by the British Chamber of Commerce in Hungary and EY Hungary. We are honoured to welcome Her Majesty\u2019s Trade Commissioner for Europe, Mr. Richard Burn, as our guest speaker at the webinar.<\/p>\n

Background<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen agreed not to extend the transition period beyond December 2020, meaning that the European Union and the UK have less than five months to reach a deal avoiding a so-called \u201chard\u201d Brexit. This leaves very limited time for companies to prepare for the challenges\/disruptions they may face in their businesses as a result of the UK leaving the EU, and to ensure a smooth transition.<\/p>\n

As always, even in the current crisis and uncertain legal situation, it is important to look ahead and be prepared for Brexit.
