The British Chamber of Commerce in Hungary kindly invites you to our annual Christmas Party,
to be held at the exclusive
 Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace, one of the finest establishments in the entire country. This symbolic festive event has been a stable part of the Chamber’s event calendar ever since our humble beginnings and always provides a great opportunity to enjoy a quality filled evening plus an elegant networking opportunity.

The event will be opened by our Chairman Mr Duncan Graham and His Majesty’s Ambassador to Hungary Mr Paul Fox, who will greet all those gathered in kindred spirit with a warm speech, to mark the end of a busy & successful 2022. They will be joined by our guests of honor, deputy Minister of Defence Mr Tamás Vargha, State Secretary for Energy and Climate Policy, Mr Attila Steiner and Deputy CEO of Vodafone Ms Anita Orbán.

As well as allowing time for some quality networking, our Christmas Party will once again feature delicious food & beverages plus will also include our traditional prize draw with the chance to win some very valuable Christmas items. Additional program points are subject to confirmation, so stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.

On the front of beverages, we are particularly proud to be partnering with Törley as our official sparkling wine supplier for the event, who will supply the festive crowd with their superb Chardonnay Brut 140 years Edition which is based on the champagne that was chosen as the best champagne at the VinAgora International Wine Competition in 2021 and received the Champion award as well as someof their alcohol-free Rosé for the benefit of our non-drinkers.

To underline the festive atmosphere, Nági Duó will be playing throught the event including a selection of Christmas songs. They will be joined by violin virtuoso György Lakatos who will also play a short set in the second half of the event.

  • 18:30 – Welcome toast by Mr Duncan Graham, BCCH Chairman
  • 18:35 – Opening remarks by HMA Mr Paul Fox, British Ambassador to Hungary
  • 18:40 – Keynote speech by Deputy Minister of Defence Mr Tamás Vargha
  • 19:00 – Start of reception (canape selection, music and networking)
  • 19:30 – Speeches by State Secretary for Energy and Climate Policy Mr. Attila Steiner and Vodafone Deputy CEO Ms Anita Orbán
  • 19:45 Christmas Cake cutting
  • 20:00 – Violin Songs
  • 20:30 – Prize draw
  • 21:30 – End of event

Non-members – HUF 20,000 (incl. VAT)

The participation fees are payable to Magyarországi Brit Kereskedelmi Kamara at Budapest Bank, HU72-10102244-82717800-01004000 (Swift code: BUDAHUHB, HUF bank account), indicating the event title (Christmas Party) and name(s) of the participant(s). Please note that invoices will be issued and sent to the email address provided during the event registration process once the event has taken place.

We reserve the right to change the event programme.
We can only accept a limited number of registrations on a first-come-first-served basis.
Your registration is automatically accepted upon submission, when confirmation is shown afterwards.
We can only accept cancellations up to 48 hours prior to the event. Late cancellations and no-shows will be invoiced.
Photos are taken at our events and by participating you consent to those taken of you being published on the BCCH website and/or in the Chamber’s publications.
