Everyone has read Agatha Christie's classic crime story Murder on the Orient Express or seen its film adaptation – if you were touched by the romantic, mysterious atmosphere of the train carriages reminiscent of times past, this trip is for you.

The luxurious carriages of the Candle-lit Express comprise of a parlour car, a bar car and a dining car, offering three hours of delight in the ambience of the past. The four-course candle-lit dinner is accompanied by fine Hungarian wines offered by a sommelier. Music featuring popular international and Hungarian pieces is played in the bar car throughout the journey.


Participation fee:
BCCH members: a discount price of 11,990 HUF / person
Non-members: the regular fee of 13,990 HUF / person
