Dreher introduces self awareness game




First in Hungary, an exciting and amusing self awareness game is started at the www.alkohol.info.hu/ site. Players of the game will find themselves in various life-like situations where they make their individual decisions related to alcohol consumption. With those who decide to gain a deeper understanding of themselves, Gábor Talmácsi, world champion motorcyclist shares useful and interesting information in connection with alcohol responsibility.

Formula 1 fever at the Corinthia




The Corinthia Hotel Budapest was very proud to host three teams for the 2010 Grand Prix held at the Hungaroring just outside Budapest. This year the Hotel played host to the teams from Red Bull, Ferrari and Virgin Racing and provided accommodation for the team members and the support crew who stayed at the Hotel for the whole week prior to the Grand Prix race on 1 August 2010. InterContinental helps flood victims




In the last few weeks of May heavy rains caused many rivers and streams to overflow large areas around the river Danube causing critical inundations in northern and central Hungary. This natural disaster resulted in severe damages to the property of thousands of people. To help the flood victims, InterContinental Budapest organised a fundraiser between 4 and 16 June in co-operation with the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service, installing a donation box at the staff entrance of the hotel. In total, 86,160 HUF were raised for the city of Felsőzsolca by the team. The contributions of the hotel were entrusted on 22 June to Mr. Zoltán Laczkó from the Maltese Charity Service by Gyula Kanel, Front Office Manager and Anita Kiraly, Human Resource Co-ordinator.
