Stephan Interthal appointed General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest

Kempinski Hotel Corvinus welcomes back Stephan Interthal, new General Manager of the Budapest property.

Before his appointment, Mr Interthal was in charge of Hotel Baltschug Kempinski Moscow from July 2013, where he oversaw the final stages of a 20-million-euro renovation project as well as the repositioning of the hotel. Prior to Moscow, he spent three-and-a-half years managing Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa, the Kempinski's flagship property in China.

New General Manager at the Budapest Marriott Hotel

Rick Enders got appointed to the General Manager position of the Budapest Marriott Hotel and the Millennium Court, Marriott Executive Apartments, joining from his role as General Manager of the Prague Marriott Hotel and Longin Center, Marriott Executive Apartments.

He has experience gained in over a 25-year career with Marriott International, holding various executive positions across Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa. His previous positions included Director of F&B at the JW Marriott Mirage City in Egypt, Director of F&B at the Renaissance Shanghai Yangtze, Director of Operations at the Warsaw Marriott Hotel, Opening General Manager of the Courtyard Prague Flora and Cluster General Manager for the Courtyard by Marriott Prague Airport & Courtyard by Marriott Pilsen.

He is a native Dutch and fluent in German and English.

Botond Szirmák, CEO of Provident Hungary wins Manager of the Year award

Botond Szirmák, CEO of Provident Hungary, was voted Manager of the Year by the Hungarian Association of Managers.

This is a prestigious award and is judged by senior professionals from a wide range of industry sectors including business and professional services as well as the media. FirstMed are proud to announce the opening of their second Budapest location. Eördögh Bird & Bird takes home a top award at the annual Managing Intellectual Property Global Awards

New lifestyle and gastronomy hub in downtown Budapest

Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest is proud to announce the completion of the re-design of its ground floor area.

After a planning phase of six months, the reconstruction of the ground floor in Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest started in November of last year and finished, right on schedule, at the end of March 2013. This was the first major refurbishment of the hotel’s approximately 3,000 sqm of public areas since it originally opened in 1992. Designed by a renowned Hungarian architect, Dr. József Finta, the hotel was a significant symbol of Budapest’s re-emergence on the European stage. The aim of the reconstruction was to give a new life and distinction to the building in a way that would meet the expectations of luxury hotel guests in the 21st century.
