The British Chamber of Commerce in Hungary is pleased to announce that the partnership with uSchool programme (an initiative to foster the entrepreneurial mindset of students between the age of 17-18) has been a great success and will continue from fall semester 2017. We look forward to cooperating with corporate partners in the new school year, starting October 2017.
As part of the programme, students join up in teams for a project and they work with coaches to complete their very first entrepreneurial project. They are guided to start a profitable venture - and through that, they gain invaluable experience. Corporate partners support the club's operations and also provide mentors, eventually topic for innovation. They can choose schools to work with and/or children of employees can also participate. We look forward to working on this with you!
The next year will start in the autumn of 2017; therefore, on 30 May 2017, from 9:00 we are organising an open morning meeting/breakfast for BCCH members/partners to learn more about the possible engagement on a corporate or personal level in the upcoming programme year. We will present the curriculum to be taught, and present you the timeline of activities, including the training of the corporate mentors.
We are looking for coaches as well as corporations who feel that fostering talent would nicely complement their CSR strategy.
We are inviting BCCH members to participate who:
- have CSR programmes related to education, youth or entrepreneurship
- are focusing on innovation and new business models
- are interested in getting in touch with the new generation/students
- have (emerging young/more experienced) leaders who would volunteer as coaches
