We are launching the second round of our Mentoring Programme in accordance with our mission. There are only a few places available, so please apply as soon as possible in order not to miss out on a brilliant learning opportunity.
This programme is designed for managers who seek inspiration and find themselves at a stage in their careers where they could benefit from guidance provided by experienced professionals. This is an excellent opportunity to improve your leadership skills, such as persuading and motivating: creating enthusiasm to make things happen, clarifying the problem and making logical decisions, taking the initiative and responding flexibly to changing situations, taking a positive attitude to and learning from failure.
The BCCH wishes to create a new tradition by annually choosing up to 10 young managers from its members to help them become more successful in leadership in the long term, contributing to increasing the success of their organisations (companies and corporations) with the assistance of experienced mentors. Any leader who runs an organisation or company of three people or more can apply to the Mentoring Programme. Our mentors are highly experienced and successful leaders selected by the BCCH from among their members and partners.
How does the programme work?
The mentor sets personal goals with the mentee, listens to, supports, and helps the mentee with advice based on their mutual agreement.
Why apply to the BCCH Mentoring Programme?
You can learn and receive support from senior people with vast management experience for your own development to reach your goals. You will have the opportunity to actively join a volunteer-based community who want to develop their skills. It is an excellent chance to learn and even become a mentor from the mentee.
Conditions of participating in the programme:
- Participation in the training for mentors and mentees.
- Participation at the programme’s launch and closing event, as well as the evaluation meetings in between.
- The pairs will meet for 2-4 hours a month in the next six months (recommended). If meeting in person is not possible, a meeting via Skype can be arranged.
